Founded in 2000, Hi-Top Productions is headed by veteran, award-winning music composer, and producer Steve Hansen. The sole focus of Hi-Top is audio, with the group specializing in vocal recording, sound design, audio mixing, mastering, post-production and original music scoring. Additionally, Hi-Top also caters to singers and songwriters seeking to release professional quality recordings of songs. Hi-Top Productions provides musical arrangement and full live instrumentation to include acoustic drums and baby grand piano.

Steve Hansen, owner, is an award-winning musician, songwriter and producer.  He has worked with many talented artists over the years in virtually all genres of music, with a focus on achieving stellar, broadcast quality recordings.  Steve understands how to create a comfortable atmosphere and the importance of capturing emotive and powerful performances. Steve also plays guitar and many other instruments on many of the recording he produces. In addition to his work in music production, Steve also lends his talents to the television and film audio-post world, with original sound design, audio sweetening and mixing for broadcast. He has mixed numerous TV shows and films appearing on Bravo, NBC, Netflix, ESPN, MTV and Discovery. Steve has a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and lives in Darien, Connecticut near the Hi-Top studios.
