Ben Padua
Producer, Talent Manager

Ben Padua is a New York based, Boston born producer as well as manager and COO of Avenue B Talent. Ben entered the film industry through production, working as a production assistant and eventually as a 1st Assistant Director, which allowed him to learn every aspect of production and its needs. His first major project was I Am Legend with Will Smith, which is to this day one of the most ambitious film projects in any location. After that, he became a sought-after team member due to his adaptability to changing scenarios in the bustling NYC film industry. Other production credits include The Bourne Ultimatum and Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, The Sopranos, Law & Order, Rescue Me, Damages, Blue Bloods, and Gossip Girl.

After working with many established actors on set and finding there were many actors with talent and star power and no representation, Ben started Avenue B Talent in 2014. Within a few years, actors who had never even had a co-star were now recurring on television. In 2018, Avenue B opened its Los Angeles branch, becoming a bi-coastal company with a huge network of casting directors, producers, writers, and directors.

With contacts in talent and production, Ben began his producing career. Past projects include the horror-comedy short Late Lunch, trailer for the upcoming Victorian-era horror comedy Mincemeat Manor, the civil-rights era drama trailer Black Privilege/White Power, the short films: Fanatic starring Dres (Black Sheep) and Pharoah Monch, The Call (starring Manish Dayal and Michael Barra), QueenZ (based on the Harlem Film Festival finalist screenplay), and music videos Stella (The New Tarot) and Shankill Butchers (Kitty Fishinger).

He continues to run Avenue B Talent and is producing in partnership with Hedley Harlan and Ryan M. Shaw of Harlan Shaw Productions.
